The Neighborly app connects local people with each other, helping everyone get more out of - and give more back to - their nearby communities and neighborhoods.
It was originally created in Hackney, London to make it easier for the founders' local community to connect and help each other out towards the beginning of 2020.
Our neighborhood app soon developed a much larger userbase, as well as a broader purpose amongst its users - with people communicating about trusted tradespeople, important local info and missing items, as well as meeting near-neighbors and community members for the first time and building lasting connections.
The platform uses geo-location technology to place users in virtual neighborhoods at the touch of a button, instantly connecting them to other people nearby and ensuring their posts and comments are only visible to those local to them - i.e. within a few miles, as well as allowing them to exchange private messages between each other.
We now have users all over the world and we are continually improving our platform based on feedback our amazing members give us. We believe in harnessing the power of local communities by creating an easy and fun platform for nearby households to interact on.
There has never been a better time to start connecting with your local community and it’s a breeze with the Neighborly app - free to download and always will be.
Buy locally, sell socially
Neighborly allows verified users to set up traders profiles to sell goods or services for same day delivery, collection or fulfillment directly through the app and receive community-visible feedback and reviews for doing so.
Just look for profiles with the blue tick and the verified seller caption on their profile. You can browse their offers, make bookings and orders, and chat with them through the app in real-time if you want to clarify anything.
